The Optometrist Attic has a wide variety of vintage and new combination eyeglasses frames, often known by brand names like Clubman, Clubmaster or Ronsir, as the ''G Man'' style of frame or by some famous fellows who wore them, JFK and Malcolm X among them. Some frames have plastic arms and tops and some have aluminum. Plastic frames are lighter in weight and there are more color options in plastic. Aluminum frames are very strong and frequently have some great chrome details. Both generally had a gold-filled chassis, the metal section of the frames that includes the rims, bridge and nose pad arms.
