These classic men's tortoise plastic vintage eyeglasses are in mint condition and ready for prescription lenses or sunglasses. The bridge is marked ''50 - 24'' and the arms read ''FOREMOST 145 U.S.A.''. The plastic has a nice sheen with no cracks, crazing or discoloration and the rivets shine bright.

This is the Foremost Hi-Note in demi-amber, often called tortoise. This frame is unused vintage stock, never worn and never had lenses. There are two sizes listed and the 50-24 will come with the original paper frame envelope. They're a real classic and if you ask any old-timer optician, they'll remember this one, as it was a very popular frame in the 1960s. Nice big lenses, strong seven-barrel hinges, broad, paddle-style temples, clear bridge tabs (still clear, too!) and a great zyl color and finish make these really super frames.

Sizes marked (*) are not stocked, but readily available. Please allow an added 4 to 8 business days.

Temples are measured their full length, hinge to tip, as though they were straightened out. Why? Because they're adjustable, so measurements to the bend vary based on maker and adjustment. Lens and bridge measurements are from lens edge to lens edge. Hinge to hinge is measured from screw to screw.

All frames are thoroughly inspected before leaving the Attic. I'm thorough about condition so there are no surprises and these glasses are in mint condition. They'll make great everyday glasses or some very cool sunglasses.
