| These classic silver round Windsor antique eyeglasses are in mint condition and ready for prescription lenses or sunglasses. The bridge is marked ''GENERAL - 1'' and the glasses are otherwise unmarked. Though not indicated by the markings, it's a good bet the frame is 12 karat gold-filled, as are most from the period. Another indicator is the
bright finish.  |

Here's a fantastic vintage Windsor frame, never worn, never
lensed. It was likely made in the 1920s. Great, bright finish throughout, strong cable temples in a nice, thick diameter and the hinges are nice and tight, no wobble or play. The bridge front is faceted, a really great design element and very unusual. The rims are faceted, too, matching the bridge. I've seen this same model once or twice over the years, but never unused and in such beautiful condition. Truly wonderful Windsors, ready for years of fashionable service!

Temples are measured their full length, hinge to tip, as though they were straightened out. Why? Because they're adjustable, so measurements to the bend vary based on maker and adjustment. Lens and bridge measurements are from lens edge to lens edge. Hinge to hinge is measured from screw to screw. All frames are thoroughly inspected before leaving the Attic. I'm thorough about condition so there are no surprises and these glasses are in mint condition. They'll make great everyday glasses or some very cool sunglasses.
