These classic black wire rim oval antique eyeglasses are brand new, mint condition and ready for prescription lenses or sunglasses. The bridge is marked ''43 - 22'' and the arms read ''HALSTON 178 43 22 MATTE BLACK 140''. The rims have a long and short diamond filigree and the arms have a ray and diagonal pattern, both like some old filigree patterns from famous makers back in the middle of last century.

This is a nice contemporary oval frame with a saddle bridge, marked for the fashion designer Halston and manufactured in Italy. These are a matte black finish, brand new, never worn, never had lenses. They're nice for their saddle bridge, flat-tipped temples, subtle filigree on the rims and temples and a generous hinge extension, too. Nice pair of ovals, ready to go!

Temples are measured their full length, hinge to tip, as though they were straightened out. Why? Because they're adjustable, so measurements to the bend vary based on maker and adjustment.  Lens and bridge measurements are from lens edge to lens edge. Hinge to hinge is measured from screw to screw.n

All frames are thoroughly inspected before leaving the Attic. I'm thorough about condition so there are no surprises and these glasses are brand new, mint condition. They'll make great everyday glasses or some very cool sunglasses.
