These classic combination frames are brand new, mint condition and ready for prescription lenses or sunglasses. The arms are marked ''Spike G021 BLK 49 - 18 140 CE GOLDFINCH Frame China AIU'' and the glasses are otherwise unmarked.

Here's a frame from a well-known old name, Tura. As the markings suggest, this is a contemporary frame. Their model name is ''Spike'' and their color name is ''Black Knight''. The metal parts of the frames - the chassis - they are a kind of antiqued silver color one might call ''gun-metal''. The hinges are modern-style, three-barrel hidden hinges and are not spring hinges. There's a golden color plaque on the inside of the left temple that says ''GOLDFINCH''. They comes with ''demo'' lenses also marked ''GOLDFINCH''. Brand new frames, ready to go!

Temples are measured their full length, hinge to tip, as though they were straightened out. Why? Because they're adjustable, so measurements to the bend vary based on maker and adjustment. Lens and bridge measurements are from lens edge to lens edge. Hinge to hinge is measured from screw to screw.

All frames are thoroughly inspected before leaving the Attic. I'm thorough about condition so there are no surprises. They make great everyday glasses or some very cool sunglasses.
