These classic men's black plastic vintage eyeglasses are in really excellent condition and ready for prescription lenses or sunglasses. The frame is marked ''USS 48 - 22'' and the arms read ''4 3/4 - 6 AO''. The plastic has a nice sheen with no cracks, crazing or discoloration and the rivets shine bright.

Great pair of black plastic frames. These are very likely military issue from the 1960s or thereabouts. They're in nice shape throughout. Keyhole bridge, very clean bridge and temples, snug five-barrel hinges and with a generous temple length, too. Great frames, ready to go!

Temples are measured their full length, hinge to tip, as though they were straightened out. Why? Because they're adjustable, so measurements to the bend will vary based on maker and adjustment. Lens and bridge measurements are from lens edge to lens edge. Hinge to hinge is measured from screw to screw.

I describe any flaws found while cleaning, but there are no problems to report with this pair. I'm thorough about condition so there are no surprises and these glasses are in really excellent condition. They'll make great everyday glasses or some very cool sunglasses.
