These classic men's amber tortoise plastic eyeglasses are brand new, mint condition and ready for prescription lenses or sunglasses. The arms are marked ''Anglo American Optical FRAME ENGLAND MOD 181E 48 22 DB'' and the glasses are otherwise unmarked. The plastic has a nice sheen with no cracks, crazing or discoloration and the rivets shine bright.

Very cool frame, newly minted by Anglo American. They make nice frames and these are well-made: strong Euro-hinges, sleek, clear bridge tabs, classic lines and those great triple-dot rivets, front and side. The color is DB for what they call ''demi-blonde''. Like most Anglo American frames, they do come in a variety of other colors. I have them in jet black, too. Great frames, ready to go!

Temples are measured their full length, hinge to tip, as though they were straightened out. Why? Because they're adjustable, so measurements to the bend vary based on maker and adjustment. Lens and bridge measurements are from lens edge to lens edge. Hinge to hinge is measured from screw to screw.

All frames are thoroughly inspected before leaving the Attic. I'm thorough about condition so there are no surprises and these glasses are in mint condition. They'll make great everyday glasses or some very cool sunglasses.
