These classic silver wire rim eyeglasses are brand new, mint condition and ready for prescription lenses or sunglasses. The bridge is marked ''SC USA'', the frame is marked ''50 - 18'' and the arms read ''SHURON USA''.  The glasses have a smooth, simple design with no engraving.

Here's a super pair of Shuron Ice Breakers, made back when Shuron was ''Shuron-Continental'' and they don't make them like this anymore. I'm not sure quite when they were made, but it's likely at least ten years ago and probably more like twenty-five. Very well done frames and, as you can see, the lower half of the lens could be any shape you'd like. Though the bridge figure is truly 18 mm at the closest point, the nose pad joints are about 21 mm apart, useful to know. Nice clip pads, good finish throughout, complete with demo lenses and clip nose pads, a real treat and ready to go!

This style of frame allows for a variety of lens shapes. The top wire and hole spacing dictates the top edge of the lens and width, but the lower portion of the lens is sometimes worn rounded, angled like an octagon or sloped near the bridge and rounded on the outer edge. Temples are measured their full length, hinge to tip, as though they were straightened out. Why? Because they're adjustable, so measurements to the bend vary based on maker and adjustment. Lens and bridge measurements are from lens edge to lens edge. Hinge to hinge is measured from screw to screw. I believe I can supply cable temples for this frame and if you'd like to add those, please let me know before ordering and we'll make arrangements.

All frames are thoroughly inspected before leaving the Attic. I'm thorough about condition so there are no surprises and these glasses are in mint condition. They'll make great everyday glasses or some very cool sunglasses.
