These classic G-man Malcolm X vintage black silver eyeglasses are in mint condition and ready for prescription lenses or sunglasses. The bridge is marked ''1/10 12K G.F. SRO 22'', the frame is stamped ''46'' and the arms in the photos read ''SRO USA 6'' and other sizes are marked accordingly. The markings mean the lower half of the frame is 12 karat gold-filled. The arms and brows have a nice sheen with no cracks, crazing or discoloration.

This is the Donnelly model from Styl-Rite Optics out of New York. This is truly a quintessential combination frame. They're unused vintage stock, never been worn, never had lenses. The brows and temples are plastic in a color they called ''charcoal'' and most makers called ''blackwood''. It's a black and dark grey grain pattern, very classy. The rims and bridge are gold-filled, white gold, not chrome. They were well-stored and are in great condition. These frames are in mint condition.

Remember that temples are always measured their full length, hinge to tip, as though they were straightened out. Why? Because they're adjustable, so measurements to the bend will vary based on manufacturer. Lens and bridge measurements are from lens edge to lens edge. Hinge to hinge is measured from screw to screw.

I describe any flaws found while cleaning, but there are no problems to report with these frames. (If you disagree with my assessment, send them back for a full refund including the shipping paid, too!) I'm thorough about condition so there are no surprises and these glasses are in mint condition. They'll make great everyday glasses or some very cool sunglasses.
