These classic vintage gold over gold combination eyeglasses are in mint condition and ready for prescription lenses or sunglasses. The bridge is marked ''1/10 12K GF 24'', the frame is marked ''ALUM 46'' and the arms read ''Imperial 5 3/4''. Other frame sizes are marked according to their respective sizes.
Here's a brilliant pair of combinations from Imperial Optical. This is their Kingsley model, a quintessentially classic combination with aluminum brows and temples in a gold satin finish, all on a gold chassis. Imperial called the color ''bronze'' but it's very light and gold in color. The frames have never been worn, never had lenses and they're in mint condition. The hinges are nice and tight, the temples show no wear, even at the ears, and the nose pads are clear and clean.
Temples are measured their full length, hinge to tip, as though they were straightened out. Why? Because they're adjustable, so measurements to the bend vary. Lens and bridge measurements are from lens edge to lens edge. Hinge to hinge is measured from screw to screw. All frames are thoroughly inspected before leaving the Attic. I'm thorough about condition so there are no surprises and these glasses are in mint condition. They'll make great everyday glasses or some very cool sunglasses.
